The search for the perfect picture to go on Christmas cards...

Maybe I'm being to picky this year... but I just haven't found it...

I liked this one until I realized you couldn't see her pigtails and it just looked like she didn't have much hair... she doesn't have much anyway :)

I think she's eating something - there's actually something glowing in her mouth.

Cute of the grandparents - but I feel like that shouldn't be the picture that I put on the card that's from Matt, Laura, and Madeline.

Guess I shouldn't use this one either.

All we can see of daddy is the top of his head.

We realized that daddy was standing on a slope so he looks like a giant compared to me!

Ok looking - but then we thought - well maybe we should just use one of only Madeline...

Ok - it's cute - but I wonder if I need a landscape photo verses a portrait - I probably could fix that if I was photo/computer savvy!

Thanksgiving was fun to have them all together, poor Nolan needs a boy cousin though - dolls, and dresses, and bows - oh my! I can't believe what a mad house it'll be next year when they'll all be walking and screaming as they chase one another! Merry Christmas

The first picture I took of her: She likes to suck, and she already found her thumb...after only being a few minutes old :)

She wasn't very happy in her first few minutes of life - lights were too bright...

...she was too cold...

...and I wouldn't stop taking her picture :)

Here she is on Friday, about 15 hours old.

When do you say you can't have dessert because you didn't eat your dinner?

So the other night, Madeline didn't eat her dinner. I was eating ice cream in front of her... I know- this is bad on my part and I knew it... anyway, she of course asked for some ice cream. I was telling her, "no, you didn't eat your dinner." Matt chimed in and said - she has no clue what that means so just give her some. I think by the pictures, you can see I was swayed...

I'm a little behind...

Here are some more pics from the pumpkin patch we went to with my family in Canby, which I don't recommend :( Hoffman Dairy Farms... they did have lots of exotic animals to look at though, which was interesting... but I thought that I was at a pumpkin patch, not a zoo... hmm...

Madeline LOVES to pretend she's either sleeping and cuddling with LOTS of blankets, or acting like a newborn with her binky, or a combination of both... see the pics! What a silly monkey!
